Veterans Honored

Kim was one of eleven veterans honored last Friday at a Veterans Day celebration at the University of Utah.    He had served in Viet Nam over forty years ago.  During his tour of duty he had some harrowing and miraculous experiences.  He received a bronze star as well as two silver stars and several  other awards for his service in the military.  He was one of three other Viet Nam veterans that were  honored.  There were six veterans from World War Two, one from the Korean war, and one from Iraqi Freedom.  It was an amazing ceremony and I was grateful to be in attendance.  Below is his bio that they had displayed.  Yes that handsome  YOUNG  man in the picture is him.

Four of our five children were able to attend with us.

After the program they had a really nice luncheon for the veterans and their guests.
I'm so proud of my amazing husband and grateful for the service he gave to our country.

I did not realize that he served in Vietnam. His bio was very interesting. That is great that he was honored at a Veterans day lunch!
