Work Crew

This past week it snowed and was cold again. The week before had been beautiful though so Kim thinking that Spring was really here had arranged for a big dumpster to be put in our drive way for a couple of days so we could put raked leaves and trimmings in it. He had worked hard on our back hill cutting dead branches off our oak trees and even cutting down some totally dead trees. As luck would have it the days we had the dumpster were cold and snowy but we had to get our yard clean up done in spite of it because to cancel the dumpster cost almost as much as renting it. We weren't sure how we could get it all done but when our oldest daughter Jennifer learned of our problem she offered to help and so did Alyse! (I know our other kids would have helped too if they hadn't had to work or be in school.) Last Wed. the four of us, me, Kim, Jenn, and Alyse worked hard for several hours in the cold with the snow coming down on us as we dragged trees and branches off the slippery hill and gathered up raked leaves that were buried in snow. Thank you so much Jenn and Alyse we couldn't have gotten it done with out you! Pictured below our work crew Jennifer and Alyse in front of the dumpster filled with our hard work.

The Week That Was

Last weekend we still had snow in our back yard because it doesn't get a lot of sun and the deer who have been coming down all winter and eating anything that is green were there once again. Because we had such a warm beautiful week in the 60's and 70's my Spring flowers have started to bloom! Yeah! I hope we can keep the deer out of our yard now because last Spring they ate off the tops of all my red tulips.

On Thursday I had my two little budding pianist at my house and they sure had fun!

Thursday evening our dear friends the Muirs from Texas came by to visit. Joe, John, Alyse, and Annie are in the picture below.

This one is of Bonnie and me. It was great to see them!

One of the most important things in Annie's life happened last Tues. She got her Drivers License! I don't have a picture of her with it because she has not wanted one taken of her. She has been driving for 6 months with her drivers permit with me along in the car and now she can drive alone. So far two solo trips to visit her sister and she drove to Young Women's by herself this week. Be safe Annie!

Clipped

Guess what these girls all have in common. They all just got hair cuts.Alyse only got 2 inches cut off her hair so you can't really tell, but her hair does look nice! Annie got 4 inches cut off her hair, but her hair is still so long no one really noticed she got her hair cut either. But now it looks nice and healthy with all the ends gone. Cute hair girls!
April's was the most drastic hair cut. She got all her long hair cut into a bob. It looks cute April and should be easier to take care of since your little girls keep you so busy!
Eliza got her very first hair cut when her mom got hers cut. Here they are together.
It looks cute Eliza! It's amazing to think that only 6 months ago You were still bald! When your hair finally came in it really came fast! Enjoy your hair cuts girls!

Happy B-Day Andrew / Warren at piano

Yesterday was Andrew's Birthday! He is a great son and a wonderful husband and father! And no he isn't 13 his Dad was just being funny with the candles. Here he is with his cute family. Warren normally wears clothes but his shirt got dirty during dinner.Happy Birthday Andy! We love you and wish you a very happy year!

Celebrating with all the family at family dinner! Andrew is wearing the Fisher Family Birthday Hat! As annoying as it is, it is a tradition to wear it.
Warren is really good at providing us with entertainment and he made us all laugh as he played our player piano. I think he thought he was really playing it! Check out the video.

Dedicated to the Little Ones I Love

Mckay is my oldest grandchild, he really isn't very little anymore. He is 11 and is in 5th grade. He is a good student! He loves sports! He swims, plays baseball and is an awesome basketball player!

Hunter is my 2nd to to oldest grandchild. He is 9 years old and in the 3rd grade. Hunter always runs and gives me a big hug every time he sees me. He is very sweet and sensitive.

Emma comes next she is 6 and is in 1st grade. She is petite and is all girl. She loves playing dolls, dress up, and is a really good ballet dancer!

Emma really likes to play with her baby cousins! Here she is with Warren.

Hunter is an awesome swimmer! He also plays baseball and basketball.

Here are my 4th and 5th grandchildren. Eliza and Warren are both busy, busy little people! They like to play under my kitchen table.

Here Eliza is in the doll bed in the play room. She put herself to bed and sat there for quite a while! She was to big to lay down but she could sit in it. She has just turned 2.

Here is happy little Warren under the kitchen table. It's better he's under it instead of on top of it! Warren is 16 months old.

Warren and Eliza are two of the happiest people I know. They are also two of the most active people I know! What one won't think of to do the other one will! They are lucky to have each other for cousins.

Warren loves his baby cousin Brianna.
Brianna is a happy baby and smiles all the time. She loves watching her older sister. I think she can't wait to do all the things she sees Eliza doing. She is now 5 and 1/2 months old.

Here are the girls! And here are the boys! I love them all and feel so blessed to have them for my grandchildren
