The Week That Was.

It is finally warm enough for me to start walking\running outside again. YAY!  This past week I have absolutely loved the Spring time flowers that our blooming and the beautiful trees that are in blossom.  The deer didn't get our tulips in the front yard this year!  Another Yay!  As I walk early in the morning in our beautiful neighborhood I just feel grateful to be alive!
Last week Miss E was in her school play.  Her parents, me and Alyse and Jarom all attended and enjoyed the play so much.  She did a great job.
Sat. was sports day for my grandkids.  This week I made it to Warren's soccer game.  He is so much fun to watch. He's a good little player.  Way to go buddy!
I also made it to Mr. H's lacrosse game.  Wow the boys lacrosse is much rougher that the girls.  I am learning more and more about the game and its rules.  His team is on a winning streak.  It was fun to watch him play.  Good job Mr.  H!  Sat. was such a pretty day it was fun to be outside unlike last Sat. when it was so cold.
These are some of the highlights of last week.  Now we are on to this week. More fun to come.

Lacrosse and Happy Birthday Annie

For the first year ever Miss E is following in her brothers footsteps and is playing Lacrosse.  I went to her game on Sat. and it was so fun to see her play.  I went to her brothers game too but it was raining so hard by then that I wasn't able to stay and watch his game.  But I hear he won!  Yay!  I also have a grandson playing soccer and I can't wait to see him play.  I guess I know what I will be doing on Saturdays.
Yesterday at our family dinner we celebrated my cute daughter in law's birthday.  Below is their cute family.  Happy Birthday Annie.
We all wish you a wonderful year!

Little Mermaid and Girls Night Out.

The two cuties below just performed in the ballet of Little Mermaid at Kingsbury Hall.  It was a beautiful production with amazing scenery and costumes.  Miss E. performed two nights this year and was a purple sea flower and a basket vendor in it.  Eliza was a star fish.  they both did so well and I enjoyed watching them so much.  Well done girls!

Me with my little ballerinas
.
Me with three daughters and the two granddaughters that performed.  None of the guys wanted to be in pictures, but each little girl had two aunts and uncles there to watch them, their parents and grandparents.
April with her little dancer.
Miss E with her parents.
Last Sat. night while the men were at Priesthood meeting me, my daughters and oldest granddaughter went out for our traditional girls night out during Priesthood meeting.  We all had so much fun together.  After dinner we went to a bakery for dessert and then Annie and I finished off the evening with some shopping at the mall.  One of the most fun things we did was have a songfest in the car to One Direction songs.  We all sang and laughed so hard at ourselves.  Fun times.

Happy Easter!!

I love celebrating Easter and remembering the Resurrection of our Savior.  I also love the new beginnings of Spring time and Easter as the weather starts getting nice and flowers start blooming.  I love the time spent with family.  On Easter Sunday afternoon after everyone's church meetings were over we all gathered at our house for some family pictures, an Easter egg, and Easter bag hunt and a nice dinner.  It was all so fun! The little cutie below had so much fun looking for her Easter basket.
When she found it she had fun wearing her bunny ears.
Little Brianna was excited to find her basket and bunny ears too.
As was Eliza.
The cutie next to me had a good time finding all her Easter treats.
Me with my sweetheart.
My oldest daughters family minus Mr. H who was sick.  We missed him so much!
My sons family.
April's family.
Alyse and Jarom.
Cute Annie (our soon to be missionary)
Me outside.  It was such a pretty day.
All the girls.
All the guys.
The guys with attitude.
All of us.
It was an almost perfect day!  The only thing that would have made it better would have been to have Mr. H. there with us! The weather was wonderful and the time with the family was too!
Happy Easter everyone!!!
