A Sweet Sweet Experience!!!

The handsome young man pictured below with my husband is Matthew.  We have had the privilege over the last few months of having him taught the missionary lessons in our home and it has been a sweet, sweet  experience!  There could not be a nicer, more well mannered, sweet young man on the planet.  We are so happy that he has chosen to take the important step of baptism.  My husband had the privilege of  baptizing him last evening.  There was such a sweet spirit present at his baptism that is was just a joy to be there.  We wish him all the best!

This is just a sneak preview of what is to come. We have been so busy with wedding plans for Alyse's Nov. wedding.

Cute Weston Turns Two!

This cute little guy turned two years old today!  Seems like yesterday that he was born.  He has had some rough things to deal with in his two years.  He's been to the hospital several times with breathing problems.  He also has some hard allergies.  He is allergic to all nuts.  He also has a bad allergy to eggs.  That means he doesn't get to eat bread, cookies, cakes, etc.  He also has a bad allergy to garlic.  You can't believe how many things have garlic in them.  So he is limited in what he can eat.  Since he couldn't have a birthday cake I got him  a cute clown ice cream cone and we stuck two candles in that.  The rest of us got to enjoy cake as we celebrated with him.

SHE'S ENGAGED!!!!

On July 31 cute Alyse and her Jarom got engaged.  Here is how it happened.  Jarom told Alyse he was taking her out for some birthday fun.  He told her to wear the pretty dress he had given her for her birthday.   He came straight from work and picked her up at 3:45pm.  

He then took her to an appointment he'd made for her to get a Mani-Pedi.  The nails and toenails are pictured  below.

 

Next they went downtown and walked around Temple Square. And then went to the Roof Restaurant for dinner.  Yum!

After dinner Jarom took Alyse for a carriage ride through Memory Grove.  Romantic!!

After the carriage ride they went to Sugar House Park where they had gone on their first date.  He took her to a Pavilion. He played some music and they slow danced then he asked her if she loved him and would love him forever.  She said yes.  He got down on one knee and said "Alyse Maria Fisher will you marry me?" Alyse said she was crying and could only shake her head yes.  She was finally able to get the word out.  YES!

The happy couple came home to share the news with the family and we had to get a picture of them.  We are happy for them and wish them all the best!
