Exciting Family Night

Tonight we were having a family night with all our family. We barbequed and sat down to eat dinner. After a few minutes April said " Mom I am having a really bad pain!" [April is 8 and 1/2 months pregnant] We had her lay down and the pains continued so I drove her to the hospital with Andy and Annie helping her remember to breath and Annie getting her hand crushed during the contactions while Eric ran home to get their insurance card and a car seat for the new baby just in case. Everyone else at home was calling every 5 minutes for an update. Andy and Annie and I ended up coming home. April and Eric are still there and we are getting updates every 1/2 hr. The last was they were going to give her drugs to see if they can stop the contractions because she is only dialated 2 and 1/2 cenimeters. It would be great if their little girl would wait another couple of weeks so she could get a little bigger, but we'll see what happens. It made for an excitng family night. The planned activities went by the wayside. That is life for you.
